This Privacy Policy applies to any user and visitor referred as (“Participant”), of www.enso.services website and other related websites, collectively referred to in this document as the “Platform”” and outlines how Enso handles personal data and how it protects privacy during access and use of the Platform.
As a Participant you must read and accept this Privacy Policy before accessing or using the Platform.
1. DEFINITIONS
“Personal Data” means any information relating to an identifiable natural person. This may include name, address, phone numbers, email addresses, photos, etc., as well as any other information or combination of information from that person which, if put together, would identify a person.
“Processing” means all activities related to the use of Personal Data including collection, storage, and deletion as well as any other intermediate activities.
2. INTRODUCTION
While providing services on the Platform, Enso is Processing Participant’s Personal Data in compliance with the provisions of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of individuals regarding the processing of Personal Data and the free movement of such data, supplemented by any other complementary legislation applicable to the protection of Personal.
3. INFORMATION COLLECTED BY ENSO
3.1. Personal Data voluntarily disclosed by the Participant
Enso collects Participant’s Personal Data that he or she voluntarily provides when: a) registers on the Platform;
b) accesses and interacts with Platform’s applications;
c) submits subscription forms for services provided by the Platform;
d) registers to events published by or promoted through the Platform;
e) requests in any way information about Enso or Enso services;
f) posts messages on the Platform’s forums;
g) responds to surveys initiated by the Platform or sends opinions by e-mail to Enso;
h) contacts Enso by any other means.
The Personal Data that Enso collects directly from the Participant depends on the context of the Participant’s interactions with Enso and the Platform, the options he or she chooses and the Platform’s applications the Participant is accessing and their characteristics. Such Personal Data may include the following:
a) Contact data: first and last name, phone number, profile photo;
b) Authentication data: username, password and other security information used for authentication and access to the user account;
c) Professional data: employer name, role, position, business phone and email address;
d) Social Media data: social media account details like LinkedIn, Facebook or Twitter.
All Personal Data provided by the Participant to Enso must be true, complete and accurate, and must be updated from time to time.
Enso does not collect Personal Data of the Participant while only visiting the Platform.

3.2. Automatically collected information
Enso may automatically collect certain information while Participant visits or uses the Platform. Such information does not reveal Participant’s identity and may include, without being limited to, traffic and audience data, information about Participant’s interaction with the Platform, Participant’s equipment details (IP address, browser and equipment features, operating system, language preferences, original URLs, equipment name, location) and other technical information, and may be collected from traffic reports recorded by the servers hosting the Platform.
This information is mainly collected by Enso to maintain the security and functioning of the Platform, to generate analytical data, and for Enso’s internal analysis and reporting purposes.
Enso may also automatically collect information through cookies and similar technologies.

3.3. Information collected through applications
Enso may automatically collect certain information while Participant interacts and uses Platform’s applications.
Such information does not include Personal Data and is collected by Enso to fulfill the purpose of the Platform’s applications, to generate analytical data and to further improve and develop services.

3.4. Information collected from other sources
Enso may obtain Participant Personal Data from other sources, such as public databases, business partners, social media platforms (like LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.), search engines, as well as from third parties.
Such Personal Data obtained by Enso from other sources may include Participant’s profile on social networks (containing name, gender, birthday, email address, telephone number, details and professional history, postal address, photos) and any other information that the Participant has chosen to make public in these sources.
If received or obtained by Enso, such Personal Data will be processed by Enso only to realize the scope of the Platforms’ applications.
4. DATA PROCESSING
Enso Processes Participant’s Personal Data for the purposes listed below (i) on legitimate business interests basis (“Legitimate Interest”), (ii) to enter into or execute a contract with a legal person, organization or any other entity that Participant represents (“Contract”), (iii) with Participant’s consent (“Consent”), (iv) to comply with Enso’s legal obligations (“Legal Obligations”). Enso is Processing Personal Data collected or received from the Participant for the following purposes:
a) User account creation and authorization process [Legitimate Interest and Consent];
b) Achieve the scope of the Platform’s applications [Legitimate Interest and Consent];
c) Creation and management of subscriptions [Legitimate Interest and Contract];
d) Participant registration to events [Consent];
e) Facilitate interaction with other users of the Platform [Legitimate Interest and Consent];
f) Marketing and promotions communications [Legitimate Interest];
g) Administrative communication with Participant [Legal Obligations and Contract];
h) Facilitate postings on Platform’s forums [Legitimate Interest and Consent];
i) Collect Participant’s opinions and suggestions [Legitimate Interest and Consent];
j) Assure Platform’s protection and safety [Legitimate Interest and Legal Obligations];
k) Apply Enso’s terms, conditions and policies [Contract and Legal Obligations];
l) Respond to legal claims and prevent damages [Legal Obligations];
m) For other business reasons, including, but not limited to, generate analytical data, identify use trends, evaluate, and improve the Platform and the services [Legitimate Interest].
5. DATA STORAGE AND TRANSFER
Enso securely stores Personal Data in data centers located in the European Economic Area and operated by hosting services providers which fully comply with European Union legislation on the protection of Personal Data.
By using the Platform and providing Personal Data to Enso, Participant understands and agrees that this data may be transferred and stored in data centers located outside the Participant’s resident jurisdiction and, to the extent that the Participant is resident of a country other than Romania, Participant agrees this data to be transferred to Romania for Processing by Enso in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
6. DURATION OF PROCESSING
Enso will only process Participant’s Personal Data for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy and the associated Terms and Conditions unless the law requires or permits a longer retention period.
When Enso no longer has an ongoing legitimate interest in Processing Participant’s Personal Data, Enso will delete or anonymize this data or, if this is not possible (for example, because Participant’s Personal Data is stored in backup archives), then Enso will safely store Participant’s Personal Data and isolate it from any subsequent Processing until deletion or anonymization is possible.
7. DATA SECURITY
Enso has implemented and maintains technical and organizational security measures to protect the security of Participant’s Personal Data it processes against risks of access, accidental or unlawful destruction, loss and alteration in connection with transport, storage and processing, by using the capabilities of currently available technologies and in accordance with the existing industry best practices and standards, including, where possible, by encrypting databases, secure or encrypted communication between Participant’s equipment and the Platform, and by anonymizing Personal Data.
Participant acknowledges and agrees that Enso cannot guarantee that the Platform or the internet itself are 100% safe. Even though Enso does its best to protect Personal Data, the transmission of this data to and from the Platform is at Participant’s own risk. Participant must access the Platform only from a safe environment
8. THIRD PARTY WEBSITES
The Platform may contain references or hyperlinks to third party websites, online services, or non-affiliated applications of Enso. Enso does not guarantee the safety and privacy of the Personal Data provided by the Participant to these third parties and Participant’s Personal Data collected by these third parties is not covered by the present Privacy Policy.
Enso is not responsible for the privacy and security practices or policies of any third party, including other websites, services or applications that may be referenced or accessed from the Platform.
9. DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS
If resident in the European Economic Area, the Participant has certain rights under the applicable law on the protection of Personal Data. These include the rights to be informed, to access and modify data, to be forgotten, to restrict processing, data portability, to object and not to be subject to automated decisions and profiling. Participant acknowledges and agrees that the applicability of the rights listed above depends on Enso’s reason for Processing Participant’s Personal Data. If the Participant wishes to exercise any of the above rights, he or she will send a request to Enso using the contact details provided below. Enso will review and act on any Participant’s request in accordance with applicable laws on the protection of Personal Data. Enso Process Personal Data based on Participant’s consent, but the Participant has the right to withdraw his or her consent at any time. However, Participant acknowledges and agrees that consent withdrawal will not affect the legality of any Processing performed by Enso before such withdrawal. If the Participant is resident in the European Economic Area and considers that Enso is unlawfully processing his or her Personal Data, the Participant has the right to rise a complaint with the local data protection authority. 10. INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPANT
The Platform is intended for the public of the European Economic Area and is governed and operates in accordance with Romanian law. Enso makes no representation and does not give any kind of guarantee that the Platform is operated in accordance with the laws or regulations of any other countries.
11. COOKIES
11.1. Introduction
The Platform uses cookies to provide the Participant with an intuitive, interactive online experience tailored to his or her needs and requirements.
Cookies are snippets of text placed in the device from which the Platform is accessed. This automatic data storage technology is widespread and is used to collect information such as browser type and operating system, source page, domain name from which the Participant connected to the Platform, in order to understand how the Participant uses the Platform. Cookies help Enso to adapt the functionality and content of the Platform to the needs of the Participant and to keep the Platform functional.
A cookie does not contain and is not made up of snippets of code. Cookies cannot be replicated or duplicated and cannot cause any changes to the device on which it is stored, which is why it cannot pose any threat to the security of the information stored on Participant’s device.

11.2. Cookies Usage
Web browsers, smart phones and other devices adapted to Internet browsing are normally set to accept cookies.
Cookies used by the Platform do not collects Personal Data or identify the Participant. The data collected through cookies is purely statistical and objective in nature, its purpose being to improve the Participant’s experience in using the Platform.
The Participant has several possibilities to manage cookies stored on the device from which the Platform is accessed and can change the browser’s settings so that it does not accept cookies, or depending on the browser, the Participant can be warned if the Platform tries to place a cookie.

11.3. Cookies Used
The Platform uses the following types of cookies:
Necessary Cookies
Necessary cookies provide basic functionalities for the Platform, such as page navigation, memorization of the last language used by the Participant, and access to secure areas of the Platform. Disabling or refusing to receive necessary cookies may make certain features of the Platform impractical or difficult to visit and use.
Third Party Cookies
Certain sections or content of the Platform may be provided through third parties. These third parties can place their own cookies through the Platform.
The Platform uses the following third-party cookies:
  • Google Analytics cookies, that allows Enso to store statistics on how the Participant interacts and uses the Platform.
  • YouTube cookies, for displaying video content and tracking Participant’s activity.

11.4. Recommendation
For the Platform to operate on normal parameters it is necessary to allow the use/storage of its cookies. Certain features of the Platform may not work if cookies are rejected.
12. AMENDMENT OF TERMS
Enso may change this Privacy Policy any time at its discretion, and the changes are effective after they are published on the Platform. The Participant is responsible for reviewing the Privacy Policy to ensure that he or she is aware of any changes to the Privacy Policy. Continued use of the Platform by the Participant, following the publication of any changes to the Privacy Policy, will be considered as Participant’s acceptance and consent of these changes.
13. CONFIRMATION
Any continued access or use of the Platform by the Participant, after reading the Privacy Policy, indicates the Participant’s acceptance of the Privacy Policy and his or her consent to be legally bound by the Privacy Policy, the associated Terms and Conditions (incorporated here by reference) and all applicable laws and regulations.
If Participant does not agree to comply with the Privacy Policy, the Participant shall no longer access or use the Platform.
